Evolith Support
Evolith turns what you say into plain Markdown notes — recorded and transcribed entirely on your device, then saved wherever you keep your files.
Quick start
- Open Evolith and tap the record button.
- Speak. Your words are transcribed in real time.
- Review and edit the text, then save. Your note is written as a Markdown file.
- Find your notes in the Journal list, searchable by keyword.
Frequently asked questions
Where are my notes stored?
Wherever you choose in Settings → Storage: on this iPhone, in iCloud Drive, or in a folder
you select (such as an Obsidian vault). They are ordinary .md files that you own.
How do I read my notes on my Mac with an AI like Claude Code?
Go to Settings → "Read with your AI". Evolith gives you the folder path to hand to your AI on
the Mac (via iCloud Drive), plus a one-tap copy of your recent notes as text.
How do I use my notes in Obsidian?
Go to Settings → "Use in Obsidian". If your vault is in iCloud, just point Evolith's storage
at it. If your vault is on your Mac, Evolith gives you a one-line command to link the two.
Recording isn't working.
Make sure you granted microphone and speech-recognition permission (iOS Settings → Evolith).
Transcription runs on-device and requires a supported device and language.
Does Evolith send my voice anywhere?
No. Everything is processed on your device. See our
Privacy Policy.
